How to set up Online Payments (Paypal, Stripe – Credit/Debit Cards…)

Garage Invoice allows you to take online payments from your customers.
Every customer can login to Customer Portal and pay outstanding Invoices or upcoming car services online using one of a few available payment gateways.

Garage Invoice can work with Paypal, Stripe, 2Checkout, Braintree, Authorize.net & Mollie.

 

Paypal

1.Select option ‘Setup’ located on the sidebar menu (left hand side of the screen).

 

2.Select option ‘Settings’ (1) located on the sidebar menu and select ‘Payment Gateways’ menu (2).

 

3.Select ‘Paypal’ tab (1).
Activate this payment mode (2)

Enter your Paypal API Username, Paypal API Password and API Signature (3). If you don’t have Paypal’s API, you can create one. Follow Paypal’s instruction here.
Please make sure to copy all API fields from Paypal to Garage Invoice without any additional blank spaces etc.

Option ‘Selected by default on Invoice’ will make this payment mode available on newly created Invoices. If you don’t want this option to be available by default for your customer – set it to No (4).

Set ‘Enable Test Mode’ to No to accept Paypal payments (4).

Hit ‘SAVE SETTINGS’ save all changes.

Your Paypal is set up now and you can accept online payments from your customers!

 

Stripe

1.Select option ‘Setup’ located on the sidebar menu (left hand side of the screen).

 

2.Select option ‘Settings’ (1) located on the sidebar menu and select ‘Payment Gateways’ menu (2).

 

3.Select ‘Stripe’ tab (1).
Activate this payment mode (2)

Enter your Stripe API Secret Key & Stripe Publishable Key (3). Follow Stripe’s guide how to obtain keys.
Please make sure to copy all Key fields from Stripe to Garage Invoice without any additional blank spaces etc.

Option ‘Selected by default on Invoice’ will make this payment mode available on newly created Invoices. If you don’t want this payment option to be available by default for your customer – set it to No (4).

Set ‘Enable Test Mode’ to No to accept Stripe’s payments (4).

Hit ‘SAVE SETTINGS’ save all changes.

Your Stripe is set up now and you can accept online payments from your customers!
